Google T1 and What does it say?

If I don't know what something is, the first thing I is? Yeah, I "google" it. So another way to find out more information about T1 services is to look to the big G.

Explore these results and see what you find:
Google: what is t1
Google: t1

Another decent choice is usually Wikipedia. See what the entry there has to say:
It is listed under "t-carrier" also with an entry for digital signal 1.

A lot of people ask me what T1 is.

I run a site that offers real-time T1 quotes. When I explain my site to people they never understand what I am talking about. They always ask "What is t1?"

Even a lot of site visitors don't understand. I get a lot of people saying they just want faster internet for their house ( but don't want to spend more than $30 a month, lol). When I give them the best possible rate for their area they think it is too much. Even though it is the lowest possible rate and a couple hundred dollars less than most people pay.

The thing is my business is helping other businesses with their communications needs. These people depend on their phone and internet so they can run their business. And they need and want to spend several hundred or thousands of a dollars per month on their phone systems and service.

My goal with this blog is to explain t1 services for business customers in plain language. I want to answer questions like: What is a T1? How much does it cost? Why would my business need it?
